Biography
Anna Gordon (b. St Andrews, Fife Scotland, UK 1971) studied at Edinburgh College of Art (1989-94) whcih was followed by and artist-residence and lecturer there until 2001. She has worked for Grant Walker Design Consultancy, London (19992); Weston Beamore, Birmingham and Manu, Hamlin, Germany (1993); Habitat, UK (1994-96) when she won the latter's annual design award. She is now Head of Department and Programme Leader, BA (Hons) in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design at the Glasgow School of Art. She has participated in several; decorative arts, jewellery and gold exhibitions in the UK, Germany and USA. Aberdeen Art Gallery and Grundy Art Gallery, Blackpool, MIMA, Middlesbrough and the V&A, London hold her work.
