Biography
Giorgio Dario Paolucci (b. Venice 1926 - d. Asolo, Italy 2019) originally studied science but became a self-taught expressionist painter, inpsired by Gino Rossi of peasants. He exhibited for the first time at the Ongania Gallery and won the Bevilacqua La Masa Prize when he was not yet twenty-five, followed by many awards, from the Venice Biennale to the Rome Quadrennial.
