Consultancy is delighted to share news of the completion of a new mural by Tod Hanson for the London School of Economics and Political Science.
The work was commissioned as part of the School’s 125th anniversary celebrations and in response to the delivery of its new Centre Building, designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.
Sited at the heart of the LSE campus, Spectra reflects the School’s position as a globally respected academic institution and a fixture of London’s architectural landscape.
This commission is the latest in a long-standing relationship with LSE that has seen Consultancy commission Richard Wilson, Joy Gerrard and Mark Wallinger to deliver new works for the School’s public realm.
Painting began in January 2020 but was paused between the end of March and July. To see the full time-lapse film of the installation, click here.
