Physical Object Description:
Engraved DUM VIVUMUS BIBAMUS (While we live let's drink). An exercise in restraint, though based on the influence of the Dutch 17th century engravers (in this case Bastian Boers) with simple ascenders, and a Capital D which is taken backwards to fir the space on the left with a double flourish & a traditional leaf and bud ending. Signed with trademark 1982.
