Biography
Ian Colverson (b. London 1940 - d. 2022) studied at Slade School of Fine Art (1962) and gained travel scholarships to Rome and Paris. He taught at the University of Los Angeles and exhibited his work in London and Lisbon and was invited to participate in the Print Biennale at Bradford in 1969. Colverson set up a printmaking department at Bradford School of Art and was Head of the Department of Two Dimensional Studies there (1969-2005). The Dean Clough Galleries at Halifax, Yorkshire, UK held an exhibition of his work in 2014.
