Biography

The Farnham School of Art (1866-1969) and the Guildford School of Art (1870-1969) conjoined to become the West Surrey College of Art and Design in 1969. The Epsom School of Design (1893-1994) later  merged with West Surrey College of Art and Design (1969-1995) to become the Surrey Institute for Art and Design, University College. It subsequently merged with the Kent Institute of Art & Design on August 1, 2005 to form the University College for the Creative Arts at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham and Rochester, now the University for the Creative Arts.
