Biography
Ergin Çavuşoğlu (b. Targoviste, Bulgaria 1968) studied at the National School of Fine Arts, Sofia, Marmara University, Istanbul, Goldsmiths College, London, and the University of Portsmouth. Çavuşoğlu co-represented Turkey at the 50th Venice Biennale in 2003. He was shortlisted for the Beck’s Futures Prize in 2004 and for Artes Mundi 4 in 2010. His practice includes video and sound installations, anamorphic drawings and sculptures.
