Biography

Felicity Aylieff (b.  Edlesborough, Bedforshire, UK 1954) studied ceramics at Bath Academy of Art (1978-79), Goldsmiths' College (1993-96) and Royal College of Art (1993-96). Recent exhibitions have been held at: Gallerie Marianne Heller, Heidelburg, Germany (2001); Sense & Perception, Manchester City Art Gallery, touring Blackwell House, Cumbria, Bath City Art Gallery; Canary Wharf, London , Bath City Art Gallery (2002); Blackwell House, Cumbria (2003); Carlin Gallery, Paris (2007); Out of China, Monumental Porcelain by Felicity Aylieff, Canary Wharf, London, touring Oldham Gallery, Manchester, Shipley Art Gallery, The Barn Gallery,West Dean, The Lightbox, Woking (2007); Goed Werk, Belgium (2007); Quest Gallery, Bath (2008); Out of China, Monumental Porcelain by Felicity Aylieff, The Barn Gallery,West Dean, Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead, Lightbox Gallery, Woking (2009); Contemporary Applied Arts, London (2010); Galerie Terra Delft (2011), part of festival Brandpunt Terra,Netherlands; Holburne Museum, Bath (2012)and, a commission for an installation of 3 Monumental works, Doha, Qatar Arab Emirates (2013).
