Biography
Helene Appel (b. Karlsruhe, Germany, 1976) lives and works in Berlin. She attended the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg before studying at the Royal College of Art, London. Recent solo exhibitions were presented at Mönchehaus Museum Goslar (2011); The Approach, London (2010); Luis Campaña, Berlin (2009). Recent group exhibitions include Centro perl’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato (2013); James Cohan Gallery, New York (2012); 176 Project Space, London (2010); Tate Britain, London (2009).
