Leo Delitz, also Leo Spiridion (b. Zagreb (Agram), Croatia (Yugoslavia) 1882 – d. London 1966), son of a sculptor, studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts with Christian Griepenkerl (1939-1916) and Kasimir Pochwalski (1855-1940) between 1898 and 1904 and studied with Ludwig Herterich (1856-1932) in Paris and Munich. He was a member of the artists' group Hagenbund in Vienna between 1905-10 and, from 1914, the Vienna Künstlerhaus. He emigrated to England in 1938 and became a portrait artist.
