Biography
Roy Conn (b. London 1931 - d. 2018) who originally trained as a structural engineer was a self-taught artist. In the 1950s he showed with The London Group and exhibited in several of the John Moores Liverpool Exhibitions. In 1958 he moved to St Ives, Cornwall, and became a member of the Penwith Society. He had solo shows at Rowan Gallery, 1966, and Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol, 1969, and in 1992 was included in the Belgrave Gallery’s British abstract art of the 50s and 60s.
