Biography
Stephen Bartlett (b. London, UK 1942) studied sculpture and industrial design at the Royal College of Art where he was awarded a silver medal and the college prize for drawing. He is a sculptor, painter. designer and printmaker with a diverse multidisciplinary practice. An artwork of his. Pagan Rites (1987) was donated to the Alfred East Galley, Kettering by the Contemporary Art Society in 1992. His current work explores still life and landscape themes in hybrid form as wall related sculptures in painted aluminium. He moved his studio and workshop from London to Hastings in 2005.
