CAS Talks supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation is a year-long programme of talks by contemporary artists that take place in the Contemporary Art Society’s Member Museums across the UK. The talks happen as a work by the artist enters the museum collection and are designed to introduce artists to new audiences.
Claire Barclay gavea talk at Touchstones Rochdale on Saturday 18 April 2015. The museum recently acquired Perching Two by the artist in 2012 through the Contemporary Art Society’s Fine Art Acquisition Scheme.
The talk also coincides with the exhibition Claire Barclay: Over Workings which ran from 28 March – 13 June 2015 at the gallery.
