Biography
Martin Churchill (b. Glasgow, Scotland, UK) studied at the Edinburgh College of Art (1972–76), being awarded a postgraduate year in 1976–7 and the Adam Bruce Thomson Prize. In 1980 he won a Latimer Award and in 1981 a Guthrie Award. Churchill appeared in group exhibitions at the Stirling Gallery, the 369 Gallery in Edinburgh, and the Roseangle Art Centre in Dundee, and in 1981 he participated in Contemporary Art from Scotland at the Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh. Churchill had solo exhibitions at 369 Gallery and Chenil Gallery.
