Aspen Online: Digital Art Awards

The Details

*Consultancy worked with Aspen to develop and manage the Aspen Digital Art Award, the UK’s first student award for digital art. Established in 2013, the awards reflected Aspen’s commitment to the arts, emergent artistic practices and artists at a critical point in their careers. 

By 2017 the prize money had doubled in value and the search for artists expanded internationally to reflect Aspen’s global presence. Recent graduates from prestigious art schools in London, New York and Zurich were nominated by their tutors and evaluated through a shortlisting process managed by *Consultancy. The awards offered a select group of graduates professional development and the opportunity to showcase their work on the Aspen collection website. One artist was commissioned each year to produce a digital artwork.
