Biography
Dominique White (b. London, UK 1993) is primarily a sculptor who lives in Marseille, France and Essex, UK and often works nomadically. She held a two-month residency at DEO Projects, on the island of Chios, Greece (2022). White recently won the 2023 Max Mara Prize for Women 2022-24 which took her to Italy. Recent solo exhibitions include VEDA, Florence; ICA, Philadelphia, USA and Whitechapel Art Gallery, London and at the Collezione Maramotti, Reggio Emilia, Italy (all 2024); Kunsthalle Münster, Germany (2023/24); ART CITY, Bologna, Italy (2023); Bloc Projects, Sheffield, UK; UKS, Oslo, Norway (both 2021). Group shows include Warwick Arts Centre, UK (2023/24) and Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridge, UK (2019).
