Biography
Tony Hayward (b. London 1954) studied at St Martin’s School of Art and the Royal College of Art, London. He has exhibited in the UK at the Victoria Miro Gallery, Flowers East, Marsden Woo Gallery, Danielle Arnaud Contemporary Art, Ikon Gallery and Whitechapel Art Gallery amongst others. Internationally, his work has been shown in the US, Netherlands, France, Belgium and the Czech Republic. His work is in various private and public collections including the British Council and Unilever. The artist travels frequently to India and has formed a collection of recycled artefacts, which have generated a number of publications including Made in India and Indian Rat Traps. He also lectures at the Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins and Camberwell College of Arts and runs regular creative educational workshops.
