Ragnhild Ender (b. Oslo (then Kristiania), Norway 1866 – d. Oslo, Norway 1973), daughter of the Norwegian artist Axel Ender (1853-1920), trained in Oslo at the Norwegian School of Arts and Crafts (SKHS) under Johan Nordhagen (1856-1956) and Theodor Ludvig (1859-1948) and then at the Norwegian Academy of Fine Arts (1910-11) with Christian Krohg (1852-1925) and Halfdan Frithjof Strøm (1863-1949) as well as Erik Werenskiold 1855-1938) and Henrik Sørensen (1882-1962). Ender first exhibited paintings at Oslo’s Autumn Exhibition in 1911 and received praise from art critic Jappe Nilssen when she exhibited at Dagbladet in 1914. Later she became predominantly a graphic artist.
