Biography
Antonín Majer (b. Prague 1882 – d. Prague 1963), son of horse-drawn tram driver, studied at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts (1899-1905) with Václav Brožík (1851-1901), Vojtěch Antonín Hynais (1854-1925) and Hanuš Schwaiger, né Jan Petr Pavel (1854-1912). He was one of the founders of Hollar, a Czech graphic arts association founded in 1917.
