Ferdinand Victor Eugène Delacroix ( DEL-ə-krwah, -KRWAH; French: [øʒɛn dəlakʁwa]; 26 April 1798 – 13 August 1863) was a French Romantic artist who was regarded as the leader of the French Romantic school.
