Biography
Anya Paintsil (b. Wrexham, Wales, UK 1993) lives and works in Chester. Recent solo shows include Ed Cross Fine Art, London (2022); Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea; Salon 94, New York (both 2021) and Somerset House, London (2020). Recent group shows include Christie’s, London; Lychee One, London (both 2021); andThe Whitworth, Manchester (2020). Paintsil won the Wakelin Award 2020 at the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea, Wales, UK.
