Physical Object Description:

Part of a female body in the round with an integral metal base. Modelled with an uneven and texturally expressive surface, the work depicts a female nude - from the abdomen to the knees. The body ends abruptly at the top of the torso and below her right knee, as if roughly severed; her left leg is extended and tapers down to the angular and frame-like base, made of uniform metal rods, to which the torso has been welded.
