Biography
Mrs F. D. Samuel was Dorothy Salaman (1881-1970) who was married to Frederick Dudley Samuel (1877-1951) from 1909 and she was the sister of Michel Hewitt Salaman (1879-1971) and artist Bessie Salaman Cohen (1873-?) - both at Slade with Gwen John. Louise Salaman (1876-), also attended the Slade, was also Michel Hewitt's sister and she married Edgar William Bishop, becoming Mrs E. W. Bishop.
