Thursday 5- Friday 6 June 2025
CAS Museum Members are warmly invited to attend the Preview Days of the 13th edition of the Liverpool Biennial, 'BEDROCK', curated by Marie-Anne McQuay. This Biennial’s edition looks into the very fundamental structures that constitute Liverpool’s identity and sustain its living contemporaneity. The title ‘BEDROCK’ reflects on the city’s landscape, history, and social foundations, symbolised by its sandstone architecture and the values that hold the city together. We invite our members to join us and share the experience of the biennial, meet artists and professionals, and participate in various activities planned especially for the pre-opening days.
We will all meet at 11am at Walker Art Gallery on Thursday 5 June, for the preview check-ins. Afterwards, we will participate in the various activities organised by the Biennial.
To register please fill in our application form here, we are offering limited bursaries for travel expenses. In addition to the CAS registration, please apply for accreditation with the Liverpool Biennial via this link: https://www.biennial.com/2025-previews/
The deadline to apply is Monday 12 May, before 10am.
